Perfecting Primer Blur and Mattify

I really enjoyed the Nude By Nature Perfecting Blur and Mattify Primer.

Often I find that when it comes to makeup products, the natural versions are not quite as effective as non-natural versions of similar products. With the Nude by Nature primer I was very pleasantly surprised about how well it worked!

The formula is thin, and almost feels like a serum. It's white in colour and spreads easily and evenly. One trouble I often have with mattifying primers is that they drag when applying, and I did not have this issue with the nude primer!

After a few minutes the primer has set in on the face, allowing proper time to spread but not taking too long to set. My skin was smooth and mattified allowing for gorgeous foundation application afterwards.

I was very happy with the way this primer extended my foundation wear time, even when wearing with a tinted moisturiser it definitely kept the product on longer!

I absolutely recommend and will definitely be buying this in future instead of my non-natural mattifying primer.

I have been a fan of the Nude by Nature brand for a few years, I find the products suit my skin, the only fault I have found with some of the products is that they seem to go off quickly which is a shame. I haven't used this primer long enough to judge.

The product comes in a cardboard box with the ingredient list printed on the side. The Natural ingredients include Kakadu plum which I have seen in other products by the brand, also papaya fruit extract and green tea which I'm also a fan of.

The tube itself contains 30ml of the primer and is cream plastic with a beautiful rose gold screw top lid giving it a more high end look.

It doesn't have a fragrance and has a light texture which spreads very easily and dries quickly. It definitely kept my oily tzone mattified throughout the day. It didn't really blur my pores as promised but saying that I do have very large pores on my nose so maybe I was expecting too much.

I was lucky enough to be selected for the Natural Beauty Month trial team, which included the Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer - Blur and Mattify. The packaging is sleek, in Nude By Nature's signature cream and rose gold, in a convenient and easy to use tube with a twist off cap. This primer is recommended for combination / oily skin. I personally have dry / combination skin, so was slightly concerned this product would be too drying for my skin. The consistency is nice and thick, and you don't need much to cover your entire face. I found that it creates a nice and smooth canvas for me to apply my foundation, and my makeup looks great even towards the end of the day. I am very happy that my dry patches are not exacerbated in any way. Excess shine is kept at bay, especially in my troublesome t-zone. Overall, very happy with this product, and will continue to use.

This is the BEST primer I have ever tried. It is non-greasy and quite mattifying. It has a lotion-like texture, and very easy to apply. I mixed it with some rosewater mist. I then applied it all over my face using fingertips, It smelled quite divine, and very watery. When it went on my face, it was almost like a serum rather than a primer. My face looked quite matte after application, but I was yet to see the mattifying effect. I then waited for a few minutes before applying foundation. After half an hour, I began to see the blurring effect starting to take place. The pores of my face looked much less visible, almost as smooth as it could have been. I was quite happy with this product, and perhaps the best primer I have ever used in a long time. I strongly recommend this primer for all makeup addicts.

This is a great lightweight primer.

It applies smoothly and although it has a purple tint it doesn't show on the skin at all.

It doesn't add any colour or coverage.

It immediately dries down to a matte finish. It actually feels a little strange because my skin is so matte and I'm not used to that finish.

But my skin looks blurred and smoothed out. I think this would be good just by itself when I just want to take down the oiliness.

This works well under foundation, but I have to wait until it's completely dry, otherwise it will start to pill. And I make sure to use a sponge to apply my foundation or a buffing brush will disturb the primer and make it pill.

The tube is handy, easy to use and the packaging is pretty and fits well with the brand.

I like how there's no added scent.

The primer lasts all day and keeps my makeup looking matte and smooth.
