Perfecting Primer Correct and Even

I received the Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer as part of the Natural Beauty Month trial box And I must admit that I was a bit apprehensive to trial this primer as I haven't heard many positive things about some of Nude by Nature's other primers.

This primer has definitely changed my opinion. The texture of this primer is quite thick but it is easily applied, feels quite light, offering great coverage without feeling like it is caked on.

This primer smooths over pores and fine lines leaving an even complexion ready for foundation.

Unfortunately, the foundation I am currently using did not seem to blend well with the primer at first so I had to mix the foundation with a bit of primer until it was well blended in order to get a good application.

The end result was ok but I am eager to try the primer with a different foundation to see if I can get a better result.

The Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer comes in a small squeezable tube and is an ideal size for any makeup bag. I have tried the Nude by Nature Primers in the past and have found them to be lovely and hydrating, and was keen to test this one out.

This Primer has a soft, velvet feel when applied to the face. I use a very small amount as I find it spreads out evenly to create a smooth base. It has a pleasant, natural scent and creates a luminous and radiant complexion, to lightly minimise any visible redness or uneven skin tone. I am very pleased with the natural ingredients and the fact that this product is cruelty free. It is quite hydrating, and has a semi matte finish, making it ideal for combination to dry skin types. I found my makeup lasted very well during the day when I used this primer as a base.

I was very pleased to try this primer as I don't always use one, seeing as many can be a bit drying. I was very happy with the ingredients in this primer as it contains lots of plant oils and antioxidants, so it suits drier skin types well. The primer comes in a compact tube, however it is quite concentrated and I only need to apply about the size of pea to my entire face. It glides on very evenly and smoothly to leave my skin looking naturally matte with a healthy glow. I haven't noticed a significant difference in the tone of my skin when I apply this primer, so not too sure about the colour correcting benefits. I am pleased that it has a hydrating and moisturising formula, without feeling greasy or heavy. My foundation and makeup look a lot more even and flawless since using this primer. I really like the natural semi-matte finish that is ideal for this time of the year, when my skin is more dry.

As part of BH's Natural Beauty Month I was gifted Nude by Nature's Perfecting Primer in "Correct and Even" to trial. I'm a huge fan of Nude by Nature's range and couldn't wait to try out their primer. The outer packaging is a matte cardboard box and the product itself is a twist tube with their signature rose gold finish. It looks so beautiful and luxe (I'm a sucker for packaging!)

This primer is a light green colour and has a light botanical and fresh smell. It is lightweight and effortlessly glides onto my skin. I was impressed with the finish which is a satin-matte, which will be great in summer when my skin gets on the oily side.

I have sensitive/combination skin and suffer from rosacea, so I like to try any product I can get my hands on that will reduce the ruddy appearance of my skin whilst taming the shine in my T-zone areas. This primer has definitely impressed me as it has helped to achieve exactly that! My redness is well covered up and the it feels like nothing on my skin.

A lightweight and easy to use and apply primer. Smooth on the skin and a little goes a long way. It is a great base for makeup, applying a little bit onto the face and then applying everyday makeup and it just does takes the look that little bit farther, making it look more natural and put together. Other primers sometimes leave those nasty flakes on the skin and peel making you spend more time cleaning it up then actually applying it. But this primer is perfect, and great for oily and dry skin too. With no perfumed scent and no cause for irritation this primer is great for those with sensitive skin and/or those who aren't a big fan of makeup products that “smell”. In all, it's one of the best primers I've used and it's great for all ages and makes a great gift and everyday product.
