Perfecting Primer Hydrate and Illuminate

I was fortunate enough to try this as part of Natural Beauty Month - thanks bh! This primer comes in a squeezy tube containing 30ml which I feel is a good amount of product. The ingredients sound lovely and this does leave the skin feeling nice and hydrated as it claims. I'm not sure about what it does for makeup longevity - I have normal to dry skin so find that my makeup stays put without any drama, sometimes even when I completely forget to go in with a primer first. The subtle glow makes this nice to wear alone though which is a bonus. Overall, this is a really nice product - it's priced up there with some of the higher-end products but it is deserving. I am more than happy to finish the tube and I would consider making the purchase myself when it eventually runs out.

I love the packaging of this primer product, packaged away in the flat tubing accented by the rose gold tones and gold lid. Their products always look on the lux side. The primer itself is an opaque-white colour that has quite a low viscosity. I always complete a full face of skincare before applying primer, makeup etc. This primer spreads quickly and evenly over my face, absorbing super-quick. I liked the citrusy-scent it had but disliked the tacky feeling it left on my skin. I also discovered that it left me with a matte surface to work off, which doesn't suit my skin at all. I have mature, extra-dry skin and the Nude By Nature primer lacked moisturisation and hydration for me.

I did like the brightness it gave to my skin though. If only I had oily, combo skin!

I can't use it like a plain primer as it's supposed to be used but I have started to mix in with my moisturiser, as I do also love the soft, velvety feeling it leaves me with. It's been working OK this way. Or I have also tried mixing the primer with my foundation, which works too.

This primer is silicone free and contains moisturising ingredients such as Hyaluronic acid, Vitamin E and Olive fruit oil. It comes in a sleek squeeze tube which dispenses the products easily. I found you don't need much of the product and a little bit will go a long way.

I apply this primer after my moisturiser because I do have very dry skin, but if you have oily or normal skin you might be able to get away without applying moisturiser. I like that it contains hyaluronic acid which makes the primer hydrating. The primer is lightweight and has some shimmer to it giving my skin a glow. It worked well with the Nude by Nature mineral foundation as well as liquid foundation.

I don't usually use primers but I quite like this one especially the shimmery glow that it gives, plus it is hydrating too and will make my make up last a bit longer.

Nude by Nature products are awesome, they are vegan friendly, cruelty-free, contain no nasty ingredients and Australian made. I was on the hunt for a new primer, so I was excited when I was asked to participate in trial for this primer.

The product comes in 30ml squeezable cream tube, with a rose gold twist top. It is a thin creamy texture, with a faint scent. I used my fingertips to gently rub into my face, after I had moisturised.

There are loads of key ingredients that are hydrating and moisturising, such as hyaluronic acid and Vitamin E, then there is Kakadu Plum and Lilly Pilly with Antioxidants and anti-aging properties.

It did everything I was hoping it would do, it worked well with my dry skin type, and it created a smooth base for my make-up. It helped the make-up blend in and look natural. It has little light particles in the formula, that reflect under my foundation, giving my skin a glowing and luminous appearance.

My teenage daughter was super keen to give this product a try, and she loved it too, it's now her new favourite primer, we will be fighting over this product until we have one each to use.
