This year Valentine’s Day falls on a Wednesday which means many of us will be at work during the day, and heading straight to a Valentine’s date, or drinks with your besties in the evening. With the above in mind, we thought you may enjoy two tutorials to provide you with some make-up inspiration. The first tutorial is about how to create a natural nude eye look for day and second a gorgeous smoky eye, going from day to night using products from our eye collection. The eyes are one of the most popular features of the face to focus on when transitioning from day to night make-up. This may include adding volume with mascara, smudging eyeshadow to your bottom lashes or on the outer corners of the eye for a little drama for your evening. Pair this with a bright lip and you’re ready to go! The key is time and ease to create - a quick make-up update at 5.30pm at the office, or in an Uber en route is ideal to ensure you’re date night ready. We’ve created the below tutorials using the eye collection products featured in both of our Valentine’s Day Make-up Kits. STEP 1: Apply the Shimmering Sands Loose Eyeshadow in White Sand to the lid using the Base Shadow Brush. STEP 2: Blend Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Quartz from the outer corner to the crease using the Blending Brush. STEP 3: Apply Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Sunset to the root of the top lashes line using the Smudge Brush. STEP 4: Lightly smudge Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Sunset to the root of the bottom lashes using the Smudge Brush. STEP 5: Finish with one coat of Allure Defining Mascara on the top lashes.   NIGHT LOOK: Transform the above natural day look into a sultry smoky eye with a few easy steps - STEP 1: Apply the Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Sunset to the lid using the Base Shadow Brush. STEP 2: To intensify, build coverage of the Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Sunset in the outer corners and crease using the Blending Brush. STEP 3: Smudge Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Sunset to the root of the bottom lashes using the Smudge Brush. STEP 4: For an extra brightening effect, add a pop of Shimmering Sands Loose Eyeshadow in White Sand to the inner corner and on the brow bone. STEP 5: Finish with an additional coat of Allure Defining Mascara to the top and bottom lashes if desired. Tip: To intensify the smoky look, add Contour Eye Pencil in Black* to the waterline. Deep Emerald Make-up Look

The Deep Emerald look is a sultry twist on the classic smoky eye using deep green and red hues to mimic the sun setting through a rainforest. Deep Emerald Collection SHOP NOW Step 1: Create Your Base Colour Apply the Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Sunrise all over the lid, focusing on the inner corner of the eyes using the 14 Base Shadow Brush. This will brighten your eyes and intensify the colour of other eyeshadow shades used on top. It also creates a velvety finish to allow you to seamlessly blend your eyeshadows together. This step is optional, so if you prefer a darker emerald, simply skip this step. Step 2: Contour The Eyes Using the Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Palm with the 15 Blending Brush, start applying this shade to the middle of your eyelid blending into the outer corner of your eyes to enhance your eye shape. Dip your brush into the eyeshadow one more time to go over the crease to deepen your eyes, blending back and forth for a smoky effect. Step 3: Hints Of Red Dip the 16 Smudge Brush into the Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Sunset and apply this to the lower lashline starting from the outer corner of your eye towards the middle of your lower lashline like you would with an eyeliner. Blend a hint of this colour onto the lid towards the outer corner of your eyes to intensify the look. Step 4: Line The Eyes Taking the Contour Eye Pencil in 01 Black, Line the upper lashline focusing on the outer corner of your eyes to give the illusion of fuller lashes. Step 5: A Few Coats To Go Finish the look with a few coats of the Allure Defining Mascara in 01 Black. This will give you intensified, lengthened and separated lashes in an instant while your lashes remain soft and flexible without any flaking. Don’t forget to complete the look with a neutral flower crown or fascinator, wispy waves and an emerald dress.

Sunset Skies Make-Up Look

The Sunset Skies Look captures the rich, mesmerising colours of a soothing, glowing, Australian sky. The typical red-brown hues are particularly complimentary to green eyes Sunset Collection SHOP NOW Step 1: Create Your Base Colour Apply the Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Sunrise all over the lid, blending back and forth using the 14 Base Shadow Brush. This will brighten your eyes and intensify the colour of other eyeshadow shades used on top. It also creates a velvety finish to allow you to seamlessly blend your eyeshadows together. Step 2: Contour The Eyes Take the Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Sunset, apply this to the outer corner of your eye lid and blend towards the centre of the lid using the 15 Blending Brush, focus the colour on the outer corner of your eye and the crease. This will make your eyes appear deeper and will really define the shape of your eyes. Dip the 16 Smudge Brush into the same eyeshadow and bring the Sunset colour down to your lower lashline starting from the outer corner of your eyes towards the middle of your lower lashline, just like you would with an eyeliner. Step 3: Hints Of Light Dip the 14 Base Shadow Brush into the Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Sunrise and apply this in the inner corner of the eyes. Blend this colour into the lower lashline and up towards the crease for the ‘sunset effect’. Step 4: Line The Eyes Taking the Contour Eye Pencil in 01 Black, Line the upper lashline focusing on the outer corner of your eyes. This will give you the illusion of fuller lashes and will bring out the colour of your eyes. Step 5: A Few Coats To Go Finish the look with a few coats of the Allure Defining Mascara in 01 Black. This will give you intensified, lengthened and separated lashes in an instant while your lashes remain soft and flexible without any flaking. Don’t forget to complete the look with a fascinator with hints of gold and a red dress to compliment.
